Scotland's most northerly racecourse, found on the River Tay.

About Perth Racecourse:

Each summer form April to September the team at Perth deliver a packed schedule of themed race meetings that consistently attract some of the UK and Ireland's best horses, owners, trainers and jockeys. Nestled between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, it's just 90 minutes from 90% of the Scottish population with a welcome as outstanding as its scenery. A unique atmosphere is created on the former crowning site for Kings and Queens. The Jumping circuit can be viewed 360' from the grandstand and you will be rubbing shoulders with some of the country's most famous sportsmen and women. Children under 18 go free as long as they are with an accompanying adult. Perth Racecourse are happy for you to bring your dog but they must be kept on a lead at all times. 

Course Details: Right-handed and flat, with tight bends. Chase course has long run-in. Circuit 1m 2f.

Getting there, directions and parking:

Train - Perth Train Station is only 4 miles from Perth Racecourse. 

Bus - Special Race day Service is usually priced- £2.50 single, £4.00 return. Pick up opposite the Playhouse Cinema on Mill Street, one hour before the first race. Return buses will leave racecourse 10 minutes after the last race.

Parking - Follow the clearly marked signs for parking and you will be given instruction by a steward. Parking within the designated areas is free for all race day customers.
