The Story of the British Racing Club
The idea of The British Racing Club was born from a realisation that people go racing week in and week out and do not get to appreciate what goes on just a metre or so away from them in the parade ring.
The story of the British Racing Club starts with a horse, of course. Chariot Charger, purchased at Cheltenham Sales and syndicated to friends and acquaintances. Chariot was a star and the syndicates enjoyed some amazingly successful years.
Many more horses followed. We sponsored races, met lots of trainers, jockeys and other talented people involved in the great sport of Horseracing.
A truly special experience for anyone who shares our passion for the sport.
But an experience that we realised was denied to the great majority of racing fans due to the sheer expense of horse ownership. Thousands of mad keen racegoers were missing out on all the excitement, gossip, team tactics and all sorts of insider chatter shared between trainer and owner. All the stuff that makes racing so magical.
So, we decided to create the British Racing Club to make that magical experience available to passionate racing fans everywhere, for just a few pounds a month.
Wherever you are on a club race day, we want you to be able to share the buzz of being there with the team.
Before the race starts, we conduct racetrack interviews with our trainer and jockey and send the content direct to your phone, tablet or PC. So that you can watch the race with an insider’s understanding of the opposition, the chances and the tactics we will employ.
After the race, we send you a post-race interview conveying the emotions of the result - the joy of winning, the frustration of not winning - from both the jockey, the trainer and the lucky members who were there.
All unique shared moments that we are sure will give you a real sense of virtually being there yourself.
The British Racing Club will have horses in training all over the country for both National Hunt and Flat races. As a member, you also receive weekly reports, articles and betting information from our resident sports journalists. Plus daily tips throughout the year, as well as opportunities for stable visits, organised racing entertainment. And much more.
Stop daydreaming about being a racehorse owner. Start feeling like one!
The British Racing Club is a proud member of The Racehorse Owners Association (ROA) and The Racehorse Syndicates Association (RSA)
