Huntingdon - British Racecourse
Jump racing on Cambridge’s doorstep.
About Huntingdon Racecourse:
Huntingdon Racecourse is an intimate racing, conference and events venue with an atmosphere all of its own. The course is less than five minutes from the pretty market town of Huntingdon set in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside. It is home to 18 Jump race meetings, spanning nine months of the year. The Boxing Day fixture is a race day not to miss, as is Peterborough Chase Day hosting the Grade 2 steeplechase that attracts top class horses.
It has been voted the best small racecourse in the South Midlands and East Anglia by the Racegoers Club. A tight, right-handed track with some tricky obstacles to negotiate, Huntingdon undoubtedly favours those horses that have the ability to lie handy. The Open Ditch directly in front of the stands provides a real spectacle for racegoers. Accompanied children under the age of 18 get in free.
Course Details: Right-handed and galloping. A Circuit of 1m 4f.
